An apartment building with a convenience store on its first floor. This fusion of living and consumerism perhaps exemplifies a stage of urban development in Mansfield when the town was being urbanized and community housing encouraged.

  The former Roger Williams Homes public housing project was mostly demolished in the 1980’s after decades of neglect.  This particular section was redeveloped in the early 2000’s as the William B. Cooley Health and Science Technology High School.
