Pier Village Directory
Description
The Pier Village was developed in the 1970s. A combination of apartment housing and commercial space, the mall-like development has since been expanded to include more waterfront condos. The waterfront location had previously consisted of hotels, homes, and a casino that catered to summer residents and tourists in the late 1800s and early 1900s. The original buildings on the land were either lost in fires or demolished.
