Title
Florida: Columbia Restaurant in Ybor City
Description
Known for its Latin flare, Tampa’s Ybor City is one of the highlights for tourists visiting the city. Located northeast of downtown, this historic city was founded by a large number of cigar manufacturers. With red brick buildings, iron balconies, and narrow brick streets, the city was created in a uniform style. Pictured is one of the city’s most popular restaurants, The Columbia Restaurant. This historic landmark opened in 1905 by the Hernandez Gonzmart family and now holds the titles of being Florida’s oldest restaurant as well as the World’s largest Spanish restaurant. The eating establishment provides guests with the finest Spanish/Cuban cuisine as well as nightly flamenco dance performances.
