Subject
Italian Americans, Catholocism
Description
At a typical Italian feast day celebration, parishioners leave church after mass. Society members assembled in a line to continue on with their procession throughout the parish. These celebrations were often held in honor of saints worshipped in individual Italian communities. There were feast days for St Ann, St. John, St. Joseph, and, later, La Madonna De Civita and La Madonna Dei Lattani di Roccamonfina.
