Located in Newport, RI, the school was founded by the Sisters of Mercy in 1947. Salve is a coeducational private university. The university has one of the most unique campuses around and it encompasses more than 80 acres. The architecture reveals the historic and cultural heritage of the 19th and early 20th centuries.
