Title

Pozolan Mines

Description

Pozolan is a naturally occurring fly ash which is an additive to cement. It reportedly enhances cement's ability to withstand the corrosive effect of sea water, and is therefore used extensively in the construction of marine docks.

Pozolan fills several mining carts in this photo.
